The bullet-to-PTZ tracking actually works — when someone walks up the driveway the camera pans and follows them instead of just recording a blurry edge. Having the 1TB drive in the Homebase means I'm not paying a monthly cloud fee, which was the main reason I switched.
Setting up all four cameras with the Homebase 3 took less time than I expected, and having the 1 TB drive means I'm not constantly worrying about running out of storage. The pan-tilt-zoom on these is smooth and the picture stays sharp even when zoomed in on a license plate.
The bullet-to-PTZ tracking actually works — the camera picks up movement and the pan-tilt lens swings right over to follow it, which I didn't expect at this price. Setup with the Homebase 3 was painless, and having the 1 TB drive already in there means I'm not paying for cloud storage.
