Three hours of sun a day is all it takes to keep the battery topped off, which I’ve found genuinely true after a week of testing in partial shade. The f/1.6 aperture makes the night footage noticeably brighter than my old camera, and the whole setup has been completely hands-off for me.
The infrared night vision is remarkably clear even at the far end of my driveway, and the f/1.6 aperture makes a real difference. I left it under a partially shaded eave and it hasn’t dropped below 80% battery since I installed it three weeks ago.
